The Guardian 400 World Tour is set to begin demonstrations in the last half of 2019 with visits to Oman, Qatar and Bahrain before making an appearance on aircraft static display at the Dubai Airshow in November. After Dubai, the tour will continue to several countries in Africa, then proceed to Singapore thereafter.
The Guardian 400 prototype features advanced technological integrations, including wing-mounted S.C.A.R. - Pods designed and manufactured by Airborne Technologies, along with a tactical workstation and mission console. Hensoldt’s Argos EO/IR imaging turret, and Sentient’s innovative Visual Detection and Ranging (ViDAR) Camera system are also featured, all of which will be integrated through CarteNav’s AIMS mission system software.
The Guardian 400 Demonstrator Aircraft will be available for viewing at many of the tour stops, allowing delegates to get an inside look at this versatile, special mission aircraft. Able to operate on five different types of landing gear and provide on-site interdiction or rescue while conducting surveillance, the Guardian 400 is built to excel in a variety of roles for operational flexibility and force-multiplying economy.
